POSTPONED due to bad weather- Long awaited Charity Football Match is on!

A date for the long awaited charity match between neighbours, Brewood Juniors Football Club and Brewood Cricket Club, has been set!

Sunday 2nd April 2023 will see these two local sports clubs come together for yet another duel to see who can take home the Charity Match Shield.

Both Clubs have won the shield in their respective fields once before, whilst more importantly, raising money for Compton Hospice in the process. This year sees the return of the football match, after the cricketers took to the crease to beat the footballers in the last charity match back in 2019.

Proceeds will go to support Sporting Wellness, The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust Charity and Compton Hospice.

Our football managers and coaches have to put all their coaching skills into action, showing their young players they can practice what they preach….or can they?
